KEITH WILLIAMS is a certified Civil Trial Specialist by the National Board of Trial Advocacy and the Tennessee Commission on Continuing Legal Education and Specialization. He has been a frequent lecturer at legal seminars across the state of Tennessee.
Nationally, he is an active member of the American Association for Justice and the Public Justice Foundation. Keith was awarded the prestigious Best Lawyer of the Year Award for 2013 by a panel of his peer attorneys to recognize his work on Products Liability law.
Locally and throughout the State of Tennessee he serves on the Executive Committee and Board of Governors for the Tennessee Trial Lawyers Association. He is also a member of the TTLA Circle of Advocates, Co-Chairman of the TTLA Legislative Committee, as well as being a contributing member of the Lawyers Involved for Tennessee.
Keith has significant courtroom experience and has obtained several substantial verdicts including a $6,200,000.00 verdict which is believed to be the largest verdict ever obtained in Sumner County, Tennessee. He has also negotiated numerous significant settlements for his clients not only across Tennessee but across the country. Although courtroom victories are exciting, the most gratifying part of his work is seeing the benefits that his clients receive as a result of the his settlements and/or trial victories.
Federal Courts that Keith has been admitted to practice before are: United States Supreme Court; U.S. Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals; U.S. District Court Middle District of Tennessee; U.S. District Court Eastern District of Tennessee; U.S. District Court Eastern District of Kentucky; U.S. District Court Western District of Kentucky; U.S. District Court Southern District of Florida; U.S. District Court Central District of California.
He is admitted to practice before all Tennessee State Courts including: The Tennessee Supreme Court; Tennessee Court of Appeals as well as all County Chancery and Circuit Courts across the State.
Keith earned Business Degrees from Volunteer State Community College in 1986 and Cumberland University in 1988. He then worked days over the next few years to put himself through law school at night. He graduated with the degree of Doctor of Jurisprudence from the Nashville School of Law in 1993.
